Who is Paul Wilson?
I've combined my passion for design, music and photography with my desire to teach to become a highly sought after instructional designer, developer, facilitator. I spend my time creating learning solutions that are not only visually appealing, but effective at achieving not only the student's goals, but the organization's business goals as well.
I call myself the accidental instructional designer. Getting into training by accident I've been a successful instructional designer for over ten years. Several years ago I made the decision to start my own eLearning design and development company and haven't looked back. If you need help with your companies next elearning project, I can take you from a learning design plan right to a fully published eLearning module ready to deploy to your organization.
Somewhere during my journey as an instructional designer, I realized that I not only had something to offer companies looking for eLearning, but for my fellow eLearning designers as well. During the last several years a good portion of my time is used offering one-on-one training through virtual classes to new Adobe Captivate users from all over the world.
When I first started out as a freelance eLearning Designer, I realized that only a small number of people were familiar with my work. I knew I was capable but how do I let the world know? The solution was to start my own YouTube channel. At first a few subscribers sign on and then a few hundred, a now thousands subscribe to my channel. At present my YouTube channel has over 7,000 subscribers and there are several hundred video tutorials. Check it out and please subscribe.
My career as a YouTube creator has also evolved into a role as a facilitator for instructor led training at the Adobe live events in Washington D.C. and Las Vegas NV. You can come and attend these events and participate in training sessions where I teach Adobe Captivate in person. The next event is in Las Vegas, NV on October 4th at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
