CaptivateTeacher Support for Adobe Captivate 11.5.5 Ending on May 31st, 2022

As many of you already know, Adobe has decided to only offer the latest version of Adobe Captivate 2019 to those of us who are on a monthly subscription.

As many of you already know, Adobe has decided to only offer the latest version of Adobe Captivate 2019 to those of us who are on a monthly subscription. At the time of writing this article, that version is 11.8. So if you purchased Adobe Captivate 2019 for a single purchase price before they made this announcement, the most up-to-date version you can get is 11.5.5.

I get my copy of Adobe Captivate for free. The reason for this is when I post a video to https://elearning.adobe.com I earn 100 points. Since I average about four videos per month, I get enough points in a 90 day period to earn a complimentary copy of the software.

Because of the change in how Adobe makes Captivate available to users, I will have to migrate to version 11.8. Unfortunately, users of Adobe Captivate version 11.5.5 cannot load version 11.8 files. I will continue to share project files with my clients, but please understand that I will no longer be able to make them compatible with version 11.5.5.

To allow some time before I make this change, I will not be upgrading to version 11.8 until May 31st, 2022.

Thank you for your understanding.
